"I was at Twincreeks with five horse-pals last August. It's already December …four months later, and I still can't stop thinking about the time we had on our 'Cowgirl Getaway'. The best (and only) way to describe those blissful four days is.. perfect! From the summer weather, to Launie's home-made breakfast waffles smothered in fresh fruit (and all the food in general), to our time with our horses, to being chauffeured by our generous and kind-hearted hosts down to the spectacular local swimming-hole on Cowichan River, …to the beauty, comfort and rustic coziness of the surroundings ..oh, and did I mention our time with our horses?? The stay was sheer heaven and I didn't want it to end. I fell in love with my beautiful Rocky mare for about the umpteenth time, and day-by-day I felt our bond grow deeper. I just can't wait to get back! You can keep Hawaii, Cuba and Mexico…ain't got nothin' on the ambience and aesthetics of Twincreeks. I'm booking to stay every summer from now on.. so Deb, please keep my annual slot free! Thanks a million you guys. You're the Best!

I just wanted to say that it was life changing for me.  I have been a jockey for 10yrs and exercised race horses for almost 20 yrs.  I had heard about the Parelli but never followed through with finding out what it was all about.  Now after just two lessons from Deb at Twincreeks my horse no longer wears a elevator gag, figure eight nose band or a running martingale.  We took everything off and let him figure things out by himself.  This in turn gave him more confidence and he stopped being so flighty.
I  adopted Sterling last November and I knew that he had a few problems but I was able to handle what he threw at me, but I never understood why he was being that way.  Well Natural horsmenship let me understand my horse on a level that connected with him.  Now we have fun together and play.  He still tests me but not in the same way as before.  Thanks agian Deb for showing me a way to truly understand and connect with my horse in a truly amazing way.

"Twincreeks offers a place that all horse lovers need to discover.  It is more than a facility - it is a community where something is always going on, things are always being learned, discovered and explored.  Deb believes in inclusion where all horse disciplines are welcomed and she focuses on the core essence of horsemanship. She is an amazing teacher (which is not always easy to find) and practices what she preaches as she is always taking clinics to better herself.  I travel and stay down at Deb's a few times a year or more and bring girlfriends who need a break from it all. We bring the horses, go for dinner, ride the trails out the back gate and take some natural horsemanship classes with Deb.  If you haven't taken advantage of a night or weekend stay - try it and you will rebook before you leave. Highly recommended to add to your favorites list."

I have never felt so comfortable and at peace anywhere. It is better than my own home; a feeling of freedom permeates this house and property.

"I had a great time at Ladies Camp, making new friends and furthering my knowledge of natural horsemanship. With beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and a great host, I will be sure to return to Twincreeks."

I would describe my time at ladies camp as an awakening into confidence for riding and handling - plus just hanging out with the horses. Deb provided a wonderful opportunity to safely expand our horizons into the horsey world and to fine tune some already established skills. The relaxed atmosphere and easy companionship lended itself to a really interesting time and a nice escape into a little bit of horse heaven! Thanks Deb and the other ladies who made this time so special!

The ride on Sunday was great - very pretty weather and a lovely tea afterwards. Different mix of people, and nice to see that all enjoyed. We had a couple of new horses or people new to their horses, so it could have been stressful but all seemed calm. As always, your positive, supportive approach sets the tone for the ride...well done and thanks!

I was riding Duster(the fast walker) for your Wine Tour. I had so much fun, and my husband can't wait to come out for B. & B. I loved your hospitality, and cannot wait to do it again - if not Christmas, then in the New Year.

You could travel forever and never find a place or meet people like you will find at Twincreeks. Twincreeks is a truly amazing and inspiring place! There is something magical about it. Deb is a fantastic host and teacher, who has opened my eyes to a whole new world and made some of my wildest dreams a reality. She is my mentor and good friend.

....we are still trying to get our feet back on the ground. Despite the weather....it was such a great time. We learnt so much, my head is still spinning. Thanks again for the wonderful time and hospitality. I would gladly recommend you anytime...anywhere!

I just wanted to ...thank you again for your hospitality.
You were a very gracious host to us and our 4-legged friends...considering that we stayed for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast, used your car, borrowed your clothes and gave your dogs all sorts of bad habits!

...We came for trail riding and ended up learning to communicate with our horses using their language rather than ours. We were so surprised by the results ... and intend returning in October to get your feedback on our progress....the trails and setting were fantastic too!

What I liked about Twincreek horse camp was the horses, the people, the food and the place. That means everything! Thanks Deborah so much. I had lots of fun and lots that learned, and I had not ridden bareback for a long time. I was also glad to see Rio again. I hope I can come back next year.

What I liked best about Twincreeks was the food was fabulous and that we really got to know our horses and that I got to ride bareback for first time. Also that I was able to learn so many new things. So thank you very very much!

What I liked best about Twincreeks camp was being able to play with my horse Nicki everyday. I learned to massage her and jump her from the ground. I learned to be a leader for her. I learned to just sit with my horse and be with her. I learned to get her used to the spray bottle so I can spray her with fly spray.

Thank you, Rachel (13)

I brought my own horse and liked taking care of her everyday. I worked with my 22 ft. line and practiced jumping her. I learned to ride in a rope hackamore.

Thanks, Alicia, age 16

What I liked best about Twincreeks: Most of all I liked the horses. The river was a blast!! I am really excited about coming next year, if I can. Tracey you are one of the best cooks ever!!

I will miss Rango a lot and we were just connecting with each other. Deborah you are great !
